Dr Susan Roberts iDiet OnDemand

Rediscover the best weight-management solution.

You know iDiet.

Now let’s get you doing it again.

If you’ve done iDiet before, you probably remember the feeling when everything was clicking.

You knew what you were going to eat.

The right foods were in the house.

You weren’t constantly fighting hunger.

You were planning instead of deciding in the moment.

And the scale was moving in the right direction.

Then, something happened.

Not all at once, but slowly. Maybe you stopped planning as carefully. Maybe old foods and old routines came back. Maybe work got busier, you traveled, your health changed, or you stopped weighing daily.

And now you know what you’re “supposed” to do…

…but getting yourself fully back into it is harder than it sounds.

That’s exactly why we created the iDiet Reset.

An 8-week live program:

For people who already know iDiet — but want help getting it working again.

This is not another beginner course.

And it isn’t a lecture series filled with more information to remember.

It’s a structured reset designed to help you:

The program has two distinct phases.

Weeks 1–4:

Reset, Relearn, Rebuild

We’ll begin with a focused 2-week iDiet Reset Sprint.

For those first two weeks, the goal is simple:

Get back to doing the things that make iDiet work.

That means returning to the core structure:

  • planning your food in advance
  • following your iDiet menus closely
  • eating meals and snacks on schedule
  • controlling hunger before it becomes a problem
  • reducing casual and unplanned eating
  • weighing regularly
  • rebuilding the shopping and food-preparation habits that support success

For many returning iDieters, this is the part that has gradually disappeared.

You may remember the principles.

But knowing them and doing them consistently are two very different things.

The Reset Sprint gives you a clear period in which to stop negotiating with yourself, simplify your choices, and rebuild momentum.

And for many people, that means seeing weight loss begin again.

At the same time, we’ll refresh the iDiet principles that matter most

There’s an interesting thing about learning:

We remember far less than we think we do.

Something can sound completely familiar when we hear it again — and yet we may no longer remember the details well enough to actually use it.

That’s why the first four weeks will also include a concentrated refresher on the ideas that make iDiet different.

We’ll revisit subjects such as:

  • how iDiet controls hunger
  • the Five Food Instincts
  • why meal composition matters
  • planning versus deciding in the moment
  • availability and temptation
  • habits and automatic eating
  • triggers and cravings
  • plateaus and hidden calories
  • eating in restaurants
  • what to do when you go off-plan
  • how repetition helps retrain food preferences

But we won’t simply repeat old lectures.

The teaching will be review: shorter and more focused, with live discussion and real-life application.

The goal isn’t to memorize iDiet theory.

It’s to recognize:

How does this apply to me?

Where am I getting stuck?

What would make this easier in my actual life?

Weeks 5–8:

Make iDiet fit your real life

Once you’ve rebuilt the fundamentals, the program shifts.

The second half will be more like a small-group mastermind.

Instead of following exactly the same path, we’ll use our live Zoom meetings to discuss the challenges that are actually happening in your life.

For example:

  • What if you don’t have time to cook several nights a week?
  • How do you handle restaurants without feeling like you can never go out?
  • What if your family doesn’t want to eat the same food you do?
  • What if you travel frequently?
  • What if your work schedule makes regular meal preparation difficult?
  • What if you know the rules but keep drifting away from them?
  • What if you want more variety than you had the first time you did iDiet?

This is where we move from:

“Here is the iDiet plan.”

to:

“How do we make iDiet work for you?”

The live discussions will give everyone the benefit of hearing how other people solve similar problems, while also giving us time to think through individual situations together.

…And finish in time for the holidays

You’ll also have new iDiet tools

If it has been a while since you last used iDiet, you’ll find that the member website has evolved too.

We’ve been adding tools designed to make iDiet easier to use in everyday life.

That includes a new custom iDiet recipe-writing assistant trained by Dr. Susan Roberts, which can help you create meal ideas that follow iDiet principles while fitting your tastes, ingredients, dietary preferences, and practical needs.

Tell it what you have in the refrigerator, what you like to eat, what you don’t eat, or how much time you have tonight — and get ideas designed around iDiet principles.

So if you’re thinking:

“I understand the principles, but I need more ideas for what to actually eat…”

you’ll have more help with that than ever before.

We’ll introduce these newer tools during the program and show you how to use them effectively.

This program may be useful if…

  • You’ve done iDiet before and had success, but some of the weight has returned.
  • You still understand the general idea, but realize you’ve forgotten many of the details.
  • You keep telling yourself you’re going to restart — but haven’t quite gotten traction.
  • You do well when you have a group and a regular meeting to keep you accountable.
  • You don’t think you need a beginner course, but you also don’t feel ready for something called “advanced.”
  • You want a refresher that helps you actually put the principles back into practice.
  • You want iDiet to work with your current schedule, family, work, travel, and lifestyle — not the life you had five or ten years ago.
  • Or you simply know that you do better when you’re not trying to do all of this alone.

What this is NOT

This is not eight weeks of long nutrition lectures.

It is not about becoming a perfect dieter.

And it is not about putting your life on hold so that you can follow a complicated weight-loss program.

The goal is almost the opposite.

We want to help you rebuild enough structure that good choices become easier again — and then help you develop a version of iDiet that feels realistic enough to continue.

Why start with a sprint?

Because sometimes the hardest part is getting from:

“I should really get back to this…”

to:

“I’m doing it.”

A short period of very clear structure can interrupt months of gradual drift.

It reduces the number of daily decisions you have to make.

It gives your old healthy routines a chance to become familiar again.

And it gives you the opportunity to experience something extremely motivating:

Progress.

Once you’ve regained some momentum, it becomes much easier to think about flexibility and long-term sustainability.

That’s why we start with structure — and then gradually move toward personalization.

Eight weeks. Two phases. One goal.

Get iDiet working for you again.

Weeks 1-4

RESET + REFRESH

A 2-week high-adherence sprint, combined with four weeks of focused iDiet refresher teaching, discussion, accountability, and rebuilding the fundamentals.

Weeks 5-8

PERSONALIZE + SUSTAIN

Live group discussion, troubleshooting, practical problem-solving, and help creating an iDiet approach that works with your own life.

By the end, our goal is not simply that you’ve completed another course.

It’s that you know what works for you, you’re doing it again, and you have a realistic system for continuing.

Schedule:

Wednesdays at 7pm Eastern. October 7 – Nov 18, skipping Thanksgiving, finishing on Dec 2.

We’ll take Thanksgiving week off, then meet once more on December 2 — giving you a reason to stay connected to your goals through the holiday and come back to report how it went.

The top questions we receive:

Frequently Asked Questions

I already took iDiet. Am I really going to learn anything new?

Probably — but that is not the only reason to join.

Most of us remember less from a course than we think we do. 30% tops, according to studies. An idea can feel familiar when we hear it again without being easy to recall in the moment we needed it.

The first four weeks of Reset are designed to refresh the iDiet principles that matter most, while helping you put them back into practice.

And if it has been a while since you last used iDiet, you’ll also find new tools and resources in the member site.

What if I can’t attend every Wednesday?

We strongly encourage you to attend live whenever you can, because the weekly group discussion and accountability are an important part of the program.

But we know life is busy.

The live sessions will be recorded, so if you need to miss a meeting, you can catch up afterward and stay with the program.

The goal is consistency, not perfect attendance.

Do I have to follow Stage 0 during the Reset Sprint?

The first two weeks are designed as a focused period of high adherence so you can rebuild momentum, reduce decision-making, and get back into the iDiet rhythm.

Stage 0 is the easiest way to do that because repetition makes planning and food preparation simpler.

But we will help you choose the version of the iDiet plan that makes the most sense for you. The goal is not to force everyone into an identical routine. The goal is to give you enough structure to get traction again.

What if I don’t cook much?

That is completely workable.

One of the reasons for the second half of Reset is to help you build an iDiet routine that fits your actual life — including busy nights, work schedules, convenience foods, prepared foods, leftovers, and meals that require very little cooking.

You do not have to become someone who loves spending hours in the kitchen.

We will also show you newer iDiet tools, including a custom recipe-writing assistant trained on Dr. Roberts’ iDiet materials, which can help generate meal ideas around your preferences, ingredients, and practical needs.

What if I’ve regained most of the weight I originally lost?

iDiet is for everyone. You are welcome here.

Reset is not only for people who have regained a few pounds.

If you have done iDiet before and want help rebuilding the habits, structure, and routines that made it work, this program is designed for you.

The emphasis will be on getting restarted successfully rather than judging how far you may have drifted.

What if I’ve only regained a few pounds?

That may be one of the best times to act.

A small amount of regain is easier to address before it becomes a larger problem.

The Reset Sprint can help you tighten up the routines that have slipped, identify where extra calories or unplanned eating have crept in, and restore the habits that previously helped you maintain your weight.

You do not need to wait until things feel “bad enough” to do a reset. In fact, we teach you to have a “line in the sand” weight that you do not cross.

Is this appropriate if I’m currently using a GLP-1 medication?

Your medical treatment should always be managed with your prescribing clinician.

Reset focuses on food choices, routines, planning, hunger management, habits, long-term eating patterns, and most importantly, on creating new preferences. Those skills are still relevant for people using weight-loss medications.

However, medication can change appetite, digestion, nutritional needs, and the amount of food you are able to comfortably eat, so individual medical considerations may affect how you use the iDiet plan.

If you are taking a GLP-1 or another medication that affects weight or appetite, we recommend discussing any significant dietary changes with your healthcare provider.

What happens after the eight weeks?

The goal is for you to leave Reset with more than a temporary burst of motivation.

By the end of the program, you should have a clearer understanding of the iDiet principles that matter most to you, a stronger set of routines, and a more personalized way of making iDiet work in your everyday life.

If you want continuing group support afterward, we’ll also let you know about ongoing iDiet options such as OnTrack.

Reset is meant to help you regain traction and build a system you can continue using when it’s over.

Is this a beginner course?

No.

Reset is designed primarily for people who already know something about iDiet and want a structured way to get back into it.

We will review the fundamentals, but we will not assume you are encountering them for the first time.

Think of it as a refresher, reset, and practical rebuilding program — not “iDiet 101.”

If you have never taken an iDiet course before, start with iDiet OnDemand.

Is this an advanced iDiet course?

Not in the traditional sense.

We are not going to spend eight weeks discussing advanced nutrition information.

Instead, we’ll help you deepen your understanding of the most important principles that matter, practice them again, and then apply them to your own routines, schedule, preferences, and challenges.

The second half becomes increasingly personalized and discussion-based.

What if my biggest problem is accountability?

Then you are exactly the kind of person we had in mind when designing Reset.

Many people know what to do but find it much easier to do it when they have a regular group, a weekly meeting, and a reason to stay engaged.

Reset gives you eight weeks of structure, shared momentum, and regular check-ins while you rebuild your routines.

Sometimes the missing ingredient is not more information.

It is having a reason to keep showing up.
